Beware. My mother has cancer and not only did this therapist self-disclose that her father and friend died of the same cancer in the very first session (which is a big no-no), Nancy then had the audacity to tell my mother that they haven't made any real progress in treating the cancer and my mom should deal with the fact she's going to die. All within the first session!!! Nancy then dismissed my mom's feelings when my mom said the doctors told us the opposite, didn't apologize for upsetting my mom, just said 'well I guess I won't bring that up again' like my mom had no right to be upset.Countertransferance by a therapist is dangerous, especially when dealing with life threatening situations like mental health for cancer patients. This is unacceptable, irresponsible, lacks basic human compassion, and she should process her own issues concerning cancer before she treats anyone else.I've never written a review before, but this behavior could not go unanswered. Beware.

one of the best therapists and the best trauma therapist I've ever worked with..I need to do a lot of telemed. and also emdr. dr woods has found a way to incorporate both my ptsd. and physical and cognitive disabilities. she is neurodive4gent. inclusive. injury and illness accommodating. the years of clinical experience as an rn before her psyd and clinical certification. makes it much easier to discuss where trauma overlaps the medical issues related to it. she is earnest. straightforward. and has the rare skill of being able to both listen to and adapt to feedback for a less productive direction. and to persistent without forcing difficult areas that need perspisttpance. wit oh disclosure and consent.

Definitly recommend her if you are going through Trauma and PTSD.

Very nice and kind with patients. She doesn't rush the patient at all. Very satisfied.
