Naveeda and support staff at Tricon show concern their clients and lead informative classes with up to date medical information as well as providing information on how to cope, recover, and stay clean. I have attended 75+ hours and find that they truly want you to succeed in your recovery. They teach that your mistake doesn't define who you are. They do not assume everyone who gets a DUI is an automatic alcoholic and non-judgmental. I feel supported and know that when I call Naveeda she will answer her phone unlike many other centers where you can never get anyone on the phone. The classes are what you make of them. If you go in just because it is court ordered and all you care about is completing your mandated hours then you aren't putting in the effort to change anything. I personally enjoy the classes especially the open discussions and opportunity to speak your opinion and your truth with worrying about judgement.

Naveeda didn't even know my name after 75 hours/after 12 months of aftercare. She did not provide the necessary paperwork for my hearing. Her updated (only) evaluation was poor. Her lessons were unstructured and not constructive. Her main concern was about receiving her payments prior to any meeting. Her demeanor was condescending. Everyone I talked with in my group shares the same opinion. Her philosophy is that anyone that has been drunk once in their lifetime is an automatic alcoholic.
