Dr. Nicholas Kofos, OD

I poked my eye with a branch. I called Dr Kofos and they saw me right away. I had a scratch on my cornea. I am grateful he saw me so quickly. The office staff was kind. I recommend Dr Kofos!

I was visiting family in Marlboro and developed something on my eye lid. Not knowing any eye doctors in the area I called Dr. Kofos’ office as it was convenient to where I was staying. The lovely lady that answered the phone arranged for me to be seen the same day. Dr. Kofos was very caring in explaining what was wrong and how to treat it. Thank you Dr. Kofos and staff; you saved my trip.

I left because it had been 25 minutes after I finished the forms and the exam had not started. The doctor was not with another patient. I heard him chatting with an employee. He then passed by the exam room--without acknowledging me. I went to the waiting room and told the secretary I was leaving because I couldn't be late for my next appointment. Then I turned and saw the doctor sitting in one of the waiting room chairs. He made no apologies. Very odd as I would think he would be happy for the business during the COVID epidemic. I lied about having another appointment. I didn't want an inept person messing around with my eyes. I've been tearing up a lot and my eyes feel extremely uncomfortable. I didn't trust him to recommend the right treatment. I would encourage everyone to listen to your gut if you feel uncomfortable about a health care provider.

After 40 years of coming here we are finally going elsewhere wait times are unbelievable the equipment I feel is old and dated and never feel like a see correctly
