Misread Xray
Telehealth
I had a plate & screws put in my r wrist in Nov. In Jan there was an injury to my wrist thats was wewk 7 post op. I continued to tell them my wrist was hurting and something was wrong. Went to my 12 week post op, had to ask for xrays. Was told the hardware all look good the breaks were healing. I then went and read the final report from the Radiologist and he stated that my hardware was unstable. So I had my Pcp review the xray and you can clearly see where one of the screws is bent and has pull part way out of the bone. And you can also see where the plate is no longer laying flat against the bone. So bacislly my wrist was healing until the hardware failed and basiclly rebroke my wrist. How in the world so you miss a bent screw?

Nicholas S. Worley, PA-C misdiagnosed my scaphoid fracture (wrist) causing me weeks of pain and financial strain. In Jan 2020 I fell and hurt my wrist prompting an ER visit where the x-ray and CT scan were inclusive due to swelling. Left with a splint and instructions to followup with Dr. Hogg's office. I was scheduled with Nick (what the staff called him). On first visit (2/3) he was dismissive and did not do a follow up x-ray that was requested by the ER doctor. He said my injury was a sprain and sent me off with a brace that did not support my wrist appropriately. Second visit (2/20) I requested an x-ray, received one, then he did not even look at and in fact walked in the room and said NO MORE X-RAYS! Seriously. He then said I had tendinitis brought on by my injury, gave me a cortisone shot, and a more supportive brace even mentioning that the first brace was incorrect. Got a 2nd opinion (3/13) X-ray indicated Scaphoid Fractured. Now 4/14 on my 2nd cast! IRRESPONSIBLE.
