Nichole Lopez SAVED MY LIFE!! All my other doctors readily agreed on my easy and uncontrollable bleeding as a result of the NSAIDs they were prescribing. My hands would bruise from, for example, just doing housework. I mentioned this to them at each and every one of my monthly visits. Six years passed and Nichole Lopez became my provider. Then, realizing a possible real problem, she ordered blood work. The very next day she called me and, after THANKING me for following her order so quickly, said I should see a hepatologist. The hepatologist ordered a liver scan which revealed severe liver damage from Hepatitis C. My other doctors, only interested in reducing my pain medication, missed the opportunity of referring me to treatment. They allowed Hepatitis C to ravage my liver for SIX YEARS more than it should have!!
