Nicola Gigante, FNP-C

I spent 4 years trying to get a referral to a cardiologist through Peak Vista. I most died under the care of Nicola Gigante who refused to refer me to a cardiologist. I complained my heart pill wasn't working. He states I'm on the best pill available. The last straw was when Nicola Gigante still refusing to give me a referral to a cardiologist called me a hypochondriac and that he would only give me a referral to see a psychiatrist! Desperately after searching for years to find another provider, I tried the website Nextdoor asking neighbors who takes my health insurance because no one else does. I was told who does and that facility immediately referred me to a cardiologist and I was told I was on the wrong generic version of the name brand heart pill! The name brand has 2 completely different generic versions and I was on the wrong version for heart failure when I have arrhythmia. I have spent a total of 10 years suffering trying to change my heart pill that I knew wasn't working!

This guy is a complete joke, not to mention has very very little medical knowledge. He had me in complete tears in a recent appointment. He's very quick to brush your medical concerns off, refuses to keep your medication needs consistent, refuses refills constantly on NON narcotic medications. I know more about what is going on with my medical issues based on standard research of my own. He lacks a ton of medical knowledge and treats his patients like a pure number. Will be finding a new Dr asap
