Nicole Ciffone, NP

Nicole Ciffone my lipidologist is a very supportive, responsive and sensitive practitioner. She has been very attuned to my particular issues and is willing to try new protocols if needed. She has lowered my cholesterol, my ldl, my ApoB and other measures, that other physicians were unable or unwilling to do. I like the fact that she is open to new ideas and keeps up to date on the literature and developments in her field. I highly recommend Nicole.

As a Dr. Myself I know the profession. I can say without hesitation that Nicole has it all: charm, chops and gravitas. She blends compassion and the most current medical knowledge of her field I have ever seen. She has saved my life and all my family is now under her care. I trust her judgement implicitly. So should you.

Had an encounter while in the hospital. There was a cancellation of a procedure and I wasn’t notified. She came into my room to address the problem and was actually yelling at me! Not ready to listen at all to what my concerns were. Told he not to speak to me with that tone! Finally adjusted her tone and spoke to me in a civil manner. She’s the reason I didn’t want to continue with Dr Ramirez as my cardiologist. I don’t know where she gets the superior attitude, but it isn’t acceptable!!

I met Nicole over a year ago in person first visit which was ok. Second visit was by phone, she ordered lipid lab and a Tsh for refills. Third Telemed she was argumentative. I asked for copy of lab, she said fine will mail. She didnt like statin I was taking so changed it. 3 months later no copy of lab, having bad back muscle pain from new statin. I had called MA x2 for lab. No response. I had received a bill balance of 30.00. MA wrote me to pay that then I would get copy of lab. Any patient med report requested should be sent asap not be used as hostage for pymt. Unprofessional, arrogant, self righteous Ciffone/MA. Not returning!

The best Doctor. I love her?? She is consistently, professional and cheerful, and so...down to earth. I have never felt rushed and she always takes the time to explain and answer any of my questions. I moved from back East and have had high cholesterol for many years. I was unable to take the prescribed medications and had denied by BCBS the use of Repatha pen shots. Nicole didn't give up and continued to go up against the insurance company and it was finally approved. She is wonderful and cares. Thank you so much.

Nicole is outstanding medical professional. I have been a patient of hers for over four years now and I find her to be a great listener, and one who customizes her thinking to meet your specific heath care objectives. I have an unusual condition and she, unlike other doctors I have seen, does not provide a cookie-cutter approach. She takes time to explain her thinking and I always understand the basis for what she recommends and why she is recommending it. If you are seeking an open-minded, well-versed medical professional, I highly recommend her.

Dismissive of patients concerns and treats clients poorly when pressed for additional information. Was extremely rude to spouse during appointment. Spends more time talking about how she lost weight rather than active listening to patient and spouse about concerns and issues. Told patient that diet should be changed to a keto/vegan diet but could not provide any information other than a printout of websites. Staff was fairly courteous, but did not inform waiting patients that there was an extended delay from earlier appointments.

She explains things very well and she is willing to listen and discuss variouss options.
