Dr Gelfond is super attentive, listens to any concerns, and is very efficient and helpful in exams and with prescriptions and medical advice. Plus she’s very kind and friendly.

NOT GOOD. Examined my eyes, told me to take eye vitamins but no reason or explanation why.I went to another dr. and I was told I have mac. degeneration and glaucoma. I don't understand why she gave me the silent treatment. I am now seeing several specialists who tell me what is going on.

I enjoy being treated by Dr. Gelfond - I truly believes that she reviews my history before entering the examination room

I was quickly taken into exam, then short wait for Dr. Gelfond. This was my 1 st time at this location. I usually go to Harlem Rd. and was apprehensive about changing locations. Why? This is closer to home, very pleasant staff, overall good experience.

I felt totally disrespected and like she didn’t believe what I was saying during the whole appointment. Specifically — After I told her that I had an appointment, in a few days, with the specialist she wanted me to see she repeatedly told me to see him. She also told me to go in to see the specialist right away when I have complications. I told her sometimes when I have complications he, the specialist, doesn’t think it’s urgent. She repeatedly told me I needed to see him right away. I felt totally disrespected, unheard, minimized and not believed. I won’t be going back to see her.

The receptionist is abrupt in person and on the phone. I heard her say out loud 'why do people call with stupid questions' and then slame the phone. she needs to be replaced..
