Not Recommended for Hypermobility or EDS Patients
While scheduling the appointment, I was assured that the provider had experience treating HSD or EDS patients, but unfortunately, my appointment proved otherwise. She insisted that cracking my back and using pressure points expanded my range of motion, although my range of motion never a problem because I have hypermobile shoulders. Back cracking has little scientific backing as a form of treatment and instantly raised concerns for me. While this provider may work for some people, I do not recommend this PT for anyone with highly specific needs such as HSD or EDS.
