She gets the job done.
She is fine at her job but isn't the best with very small children.

Kind and Caring
Dr. Parkhill was kind and caring. She took the time to explain what she was doing throughout the necessary testing. She is very knowledgeable and I trust her with my family's eye care.

Very rushed & condescending with patients
As she performed the refraction test, asking my 17 year old son which looks better, she always gave him almost a second to answer before she repeated 'which one?'. As she flipped the lens, he barely had time to see through it. 'You just need to pick one, it's not hard' and 'It really doesn't matter, just pick 1 or 2....' He wasn't taking long. I'm typically impatient myself and hate to make people wait- it takes a lot to offend me. Once when she was rushing, he mentioned that he wanted to be sure, since he'll be wearing the glasses for a year. She replied with a laugh and some words. The biggest issue? This happened last year with her, which was our first interaction. Back then, I figured it was a rushed day so we'd give it another go. Dr. Mickler is perfection when he does it - he is absolutely fabulous and has been for all the years we've seen him. But Parkhill is at his office now; we're hoping we can request Dr. Mickler only, in order to prevent anxiety and feeling rushed.
