In my 10 years of treatment, Pam hoopes remains the worst therapist I have ever encountered. She claimed my Major Depressive Disorder (diagnosed by multiple psychiatrists with doctorate degrees) was me “just being lazy” (direct quote). Would not recommend, based on her poor job performance.

Does not conduct talk therapy very well. I felt like I was her therapist at most times. She talks about herself and stories about her life way too often. They rarely had relevance to what my concerns were. It seems that the only experience she has is with mindfulness. Even when I told her that didn't seem right for me she kept pushing it and was not using any other therapy techniques.
