EXCELLENT Dr. of Optometry!
I am a former patient of Dr. Joyce Takahashi. According to Dr. Joyce and her team, when Dr. Joyce set a date to retire, they searched long and hard for an Optometrist who had the same patient care qualities, thoroughness, skill as Dr. Joyce. They found Dr. Johnson and let me tell you, he is excellent! Kind, thorough, doesn’t rush, gentle, explains without OVER explaining and checks for understanding. Dr. Joyce stayed on until Dr. J was fully comfortable, and knew the practice. She is fully retired and Dr. Parker Johnson now runs the practice under the new name Ann Arbor Eye Care, though it still comes up as Takahashi Eye Care. Same great care, kindness and professionalism with the same wonderful staff. Dr. Joyce was determined to leave her patients in great hands and she nailed it with Dr. Johnson! Make your appoint for your next annual exam at checkout- he books up fast! I called to book my annual exam three months before it was due and they were already booking into October.
