Dr Burns is one of those doctors you hope never retires. Honestly I wouldn't know what to do if he did. I have been seeing him off and on for nearly three decades, every time I get into trouble he gets me back in the game. He has an oustanding knowledge of sports medicine and pain management. he works in a multidiciplinary practice essentially making him a one stop shop wethere your in a car accident or blew somnething out playing siftball (like me).

Dr Burns is one of those doctors that makes a point to get to the root cause of your problem. I've had a bad lower back for more than 10 years. I've seen other chiropractors, had injections, PT, Massage and everything else short of surgery. Two spine surgeons agree that I need an L5/S1 fusion, however, both advised me to put it off if I could because I’m only 31. I heard Dr. Burns on ESPN and made an appointment for a free consultation. He looked at my X-rays and MRI(s), did an orthopedic and neurological work up and suggested I try Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression before having surgery. I did some research and the info was mixed, however, I noticed that he always had positive reviews, so I decided to give it a go. I treated with him for 6 weeks and was pain free, I've had two "tune ups” the past year and am still pain free. The massive disc bulge that was evident on my previous MRI is virtually gone. I'm active in sports again and couldn't be happier.
