Paul Engel, LCSW

Paul was my son's therapist while my son went through divorce tough time. The mother and her family were alienating and poisoning my son, and he developed strong negative feelings towards me. My son was disconnected from me for 4 years at the time he started to see Paul. Paul scheduled appointments with me once a month to let me know how my son was doing. Unfortunately, Paul was the only person who told me how my son is doing, as the mother refused to give me any kind of information about my son. Paul was very professional, listen and articulate the situation that my son was going through. Paul was even tried to connect between us. Unfortunately, as soon as the mother heard that Paul is trying to connect between me and my son, she cut him, and he was no longer able to assist my son. Paul had the courage to go against the mother wish to disconnect us, and because of that he lost a patient. This is VERY unusual that a therapist would prioritize a patient's need like that!

Dr Engel has got to the bottom of the problems I have been dealing with for years that no other therapist touched on. I have seen many therapists and Dr Engel is the best. I'm very grateful for all he has done for me and continues to do. Nice man as well, easy to talk to and very understanding and very knowledgeable.
