Initially, I obtained a referral to Dr Malvarosa due to overwhelming stress associated with my role as a care-giver for an elderly parent. My symptoms from that stress manifested as physical fatigue. He offers a relaxed, calm, and supportive environment there in his office (it's a safe space). I like his philosophy, and approach in general. He recognized my condition as valid and did not make me feel as though I was 'broken'. Conversations with Dr Malvarosa provide value and I would certainly recommend him for anybody who is faced with overwhelming feelings. I knew from the start that I did not need medication for my issue(s) but rather a therapist who I could discuss personal family related issues with. His dispassionate, honest, and professional interaction is really what makes therapy work!
