Paula Raffone, LMFT

My husband and I went to Paula for marriage counseling. It was the most unusual, uncomfortable therapy experience of my life. Paula essentially was unfairly harsh on my husband and then gaslit him when he tried to defend himself. She accused him of bullying her during our second session, when he had just been crying over her treatment of him during our very first session with her.

I've been working with Paula since 2018. She has never made me feel like money was an issue, in fact helped me when I lost my job. She has helped me continuously through my depression, childhood trauma, and anxiety. She is encouraging, friendly, down-to-earth, and caring. Being able to work with her has truly helped me reprogram the storytelling I've lived with in my head since I was a teenager. I'm fortunate to have her on my side through my journey of healing. She will be the first to say that I have done all the work & that I could've gotten here without her, that I would've found another way. Paula has helped me a lot with my depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma. She is accepting, helpful, and challenges me to put in the work to make my life better for me. She has never made me feel like she was only about the money. Whenever I take a break from therapy, she always welcomes me back without making me feel guilty.
