Lack of communication from provider on what tests would be run. A 100% covered well woman’s exam turned into a a bill for $173 bc provider did not communicate what tests she wanted to run ( although completely unnecessary and I do have the right to decline labs test had she communicated that she was going to run them never got the chance though) 8 months later and still trying to get it to resolve with lack of communication from office staff.

Payal is always thorough and honest about my health. Thankful for such a caring physician who truly cares about my health.

Knowledgeable and takes time to listen to me every time I go in

Payal Patel has been overseeing my health for over 5 years. She is professional, thorough, and overall passionate about helping her patients. My last trip to the office was for a simple allergy test - it all turned south when I found out my blood pressure was alarmingly high. Instead of admitting me to the ER (and spending an insane amount of money), Payal Patel assessed the situation immediately, stabilized it, and referred me to an excellent Cardiologist. I refer all my friends and family to her for her excellent care.

Payal is an amazing healthcare provider. She identified a serious health problem post my pregnancy and immediately treated it. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here for my baby or family. She‘s extremely thorough and does what’s best for the patient!

Not a better healthcare provider I would rather work with than Payal. Payal takes great pride in her profession and it shows each and every time I have an appointment with her. It’s hard these days to find someone who has the patience and takes the time to explain things in detail. She is a great physician whom I would recommend to anyone looking for someone that is knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for their patients.

Payal is truly an outstanding healthcare provider who provides nothing short of patient-centered care. It is evident that she actually takes the time to prep and read through her patients’ chart in advance prior to coming into the exam room. This really stood out to me as a new patient as i have never experienced this in the past, but more importantly because it allowed us more time during the appointment to discuss things versus having to repeat everything I had already filled out or provided information on. As well, she is very attentive and takes the time to carefully listen to all of your problems and answer your questions to devise a plan on how to treat your medical needs. She is honest and straightforward, while still maintaining professionalism and bedside manner. Unlike many other providers, she is not one to push adding more medication(s) to your list. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Payal. Even though she is a PA, her medical knowledge is amazing! She's always willing to listen to my issues and concerns and has given me great medical advice to control some of my health issues. My appointment wasn't rushed, and she's always been a joy to have as my physician. Highly recommend her to anyone.

Payal is by far the best PA I have ever been with. It is truly hard to find a doctor these days that truly care about the well-being of their patients. She has called me personally multiple times with critical test results. She went above and beyond with ordering tests and imaging for a cough I had for months - which unfortunately came back positive for lung cancer. She saved my life and is truly the best doctor I have ever been with.

Dr. Payal Patel rushed through my appointment. I think I was in the room with dr. Patel for ten minutes. I was discharged from the ER the day before and they asked me to follow-up with my primary; however my Primary was not available, so they scheduled me an appointment with dr. Payal Patel. Let me tell you that she does not care for her patients. She had no beside manners. All she kept saying was “I cannot help you”. I have never had a doctor tell me they cannot help me. She does not have a heart. I wish she would listen to her patients. I sat there crying in pain and all she said in our ten minute visit was “There is nothing she could do to help me”. Dr. Patel then said that she will be back and she never return to the room. These doctors want to get paid big bucks, charge our insurance company for a ten minute visit and no services. As I was leaving the building I was shock to see dr. Patel outside before me. Few days later I was admitted into the hospital.

She rushes through every one of my appointments. I always feel confused when I leave. Recommended her to a friend and now he doesn't want to go to a doctor ever again. I wish she would listen to her patients.

Payal is the absolute best! Always available when I need. So friendly and very knowledgeable and makes me feel very comfortable. I've been going to her for a couple years now, and will never go anywhere else. She is the best PA in Brandon, FL!

I've been taking my son to her for follow-up appointments every 2 months for the past 2 years and she is wonderful! She is very personable, friendly, and professional. She always lets me know ahead of time when certain things will be needed on the next few visits for him - which is super helpful and helps me prepare as I pay out of pocket.

She came highly recommended by my neighbor in regards to some of my health concerns. I've been to many care providers in the area which don't seem to care or take the time to treat a patient. I can't thank her enough as she was able to catch something early on and clearly explain the different options I had.
