He evaluated my son for autism . He was very thorough in the process . My son is very young and the evaluation gave us the answers we needed.

Dreadful

We only had one session with Dr. Philip K Axtell. However, that session was enough to stop anyone from going back. He did not care about his patient. During the entire session, his cell phone kept ringing in the back of his office. Not once did he get up to silence it or turn it to do not disturb. I find that extremely rude and it shows that your interest was elsewhere. Dr. Axtell excuses were that the person calling was wanting to talk about their vacation plans? They also somehow got the wrong insurance card for me. They said I gave them a blue cross insurance card, but I have never had blue cross insurance before. one year later I get a bill in the mail for the one session and I am told they are turning me over to collections? I would have gladly sorted this out a long time ago if they would have ever reached out to me in any way. I never once received anything in the mail, nor did I ever receive any calls. They have my cell number on file and could have tried that at any time. Do

Would Not recommend Dr.Axtell Do Not say anything personal that you don't want school to know on report. Went to him to establish ADD and he asked personal history and events and included this on his report. I did not go for therapy just testing . I wouldn't trust this Doctor .
