She was very rude, stuck up and disinterested. Doesn't seem like the type of person I should be dealing with for help with mental treatment. Stay away.

Exceptionally unprofessional. Avoid like the plague.

Would HIGHLY discourage anyone from seeing Ms. Gould. She was more interested in my $ for the session (she basically demanded I pay her before even sitting down with me) & ended our session with "It doesn't seem as though you have anything to work through, whether you come back to see me is up to you". Furthermore, 4 months after my initial & ONLY session, she harassed me with MANY phone calls & emails to pay more for our session although I had told her I had resolved the insurance glitch.

I was referred to her by my health clinic because she accepts my insurance. The initial session I had with her was interrupted by phone calls (one of which she took to tell the caller she would call them back). She was impatient with me when I stopped to read the forms she gave me to sign, and I didn't feel like she listened very well.

Her office as well as her personal appearance and demeanor are all sloppy and disheveled. She seems to be totally lacking in empathy or compassion. In two sessions she had not one supportive or positive thing to say to me. I went to Phyllis for depression and anxiety, which is not difficult to cure. In only our 2nd session, based on very little knowledge of my history or my personality, she suggested that I have a very serious mental illness that is chronic and incurable. Strange and unethical.

Her office smells really bad. She comes off as really bored and disinterested during sessions. She answered the phone in the middle of my session. I was referred to her by my insurance because they said she was knowledgable about transgender issues, which she isn't so I spend a good amount of time educating her. Last session she tried to convince me that someone who is no longer in my life is stalking me and is going to try to hurt me. Would NOT recommend.
