Dr. Cohn gave me a prescription that was *much* too strong. So I went back to tell her it was making my vision distorted, my eyes hurt terribly and my head pound with pain. She said that was normal and I should just keep them until I "grow into" the new prescription! After I pressed hard, she finally agreed to redo them - but the second pair was also too strong (just not quite as badly.) If you're near-sighted with astigmatism, she might not be the best optometrist for you.
