HORRIBLE
I’ve never felt a bad energy in a practice before. She wasn’t friendly. She didn’t show any empathy or anything after having a miscarriage. I kept getting questioned like as if I was lying or something. She wasn’t patient swabbing me. The service felt rushed. I don’t really think my concerns were really addressed. Then, I could hear them talking about the reason for my visit from my room. Also, she made a comment at the end of the visit that should have been kept to herself.

Miscarriage misinformation & trauma
My interaction with this provider was traumatic. I was experiencing bleeding while almost 8 weeks pregnant and booked and Urgent Care appointment. Rachel told me that I was likely having a miscarriage, and then told me in no uncertain terms that it was caused by the workout class I took the day before, that women should never lift more than 10 lbs during pregnancy and she 'sees this all the time.' I know now that this is outdated information, but at the time it was devastating to hear from a medical provider that a miscarriage was my fault.

Run!
This was one of the most bazaar provider interaction I have had. It makes me sad that someone like this is in maternal urgent care. I had a very early miscarriage a few days prior and was having stomach pain and ovarian pain. I told her I thought I had a cyst but did not understand why my stomach was so painful. They did an ultrasound and then she entered the room and said I had a cat scan in the past for gas. Like mocking me. I had a cat scan a few months prior because my dr was concerned I had a tumor due to my bloodwork. Bazar! She then told me I did not have a cyst. I said are you sure? She said yeah “you can ask your dr to read the report because sometimes they think people be lyin”. Turns out the report said I did have a cyst. I felt bullied and lied to. I was in a vulnerable state and I can’t imagine had I just had a miscarriage further along or was pregnant. I don’t know if she is just on a twisted power trip or has a problem with my race.

Terrible bed-side manner. Very hostile and not open to answering questions. Before I even made it to an exam room, she came out to the lobby (BTW, they were 2 hours behind and she was the only provider in the facility) to "make sure there wont be any issues with your mask during your exam". Upon entering the room, she did not speak and when i spoke, she stated, "we met in the lobby." She was so bothered by me that she allowed all reasoning and her Hippocratic Oath to leave the room. When I asked a question, she responded with "why are you asking me questions?" She refused to run additional tests when asked on multiple occasions. She refused to acknowledge my concerns during the visit even KNOWING that her diagnosis didnt address my concerns at the time. Horrible experience.
