Relief
I have been seeing Rachel for several years, although not consistently. I go back in when something comes up that I need help dealing with. She always offers me support in a completely non-judgement way and teaches me how to deal with negative emotions by accepting them by describing how I experience them in my body.and my mind and it really works! 100% of the time, I feel soooooo much better after our meetings! Also, everyone in the office are all very sweet and caring. It’s a very nicely modern designed office, with comfortable couches rather than desks and hard chairs. You feel safe the moment you walk in the door

He always respectful and easy going make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend them.

My husband and I have been coming here for 3 months now. Our counselor is Leslie and we are very happy with her services. She is professional, respectful and very observant. We highly recommend her to friends and colleagues.

Professional kind environment when you go into the office. Rachel is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I wish I had found her sooner.

Very nice first session
I enjoyed the session that I had, though the price was crazy expensive and I'm not sure I'll be going back even if I liked the work Leslie gave to me. If you're willing to shell out 100+ dollars out of pocket to speak to them, I recommend it.

Rachel was always so kind and accommodating. She does EMDR as well. I feel overwhelmingly comfortable talking with her. It is like talking to your best friend who is very knowledgeable and compassionate and professional. I would recommend anyone to her. My children see another therapist in her office and I was surprised how much she has helped. Christina has made a behavior support plan for my 6 year old and has been increasingly helpful the more I adhere to it. —— 10/29/2020

Rachel was very rude and judgmental when I attempted to arrange sessions for my ex and I to help us learn how to work through coparenting issues. Asked for reasonable accommodations considering our circumstances just to met with attitude and snide comments about our situation. She even went as far to say that they couldn’t help bc they only help parents who want to work together for the best interests of their children. Very unprofessional and demeaning considering the whole reason I was attempting to do therapy was so we could work together for our child.

Rachel is so warm and comforting, as is her office enviroment. Right from the first meeting, I felt like I could tell her everything, and she never judged me, I had been to counseling before, but never felt comfortable enough to let it all out. I honestly felt so much better after the very first meeting I almost cancelled the follow up appointment. I am so glad I continued because she helped me to stand up for myself, and not feel guilty.

Rachel was probably the worst family therapist I have ever met. She was insensitive, rude, and condescending. She was also extremely bias. She encouraged my significant and I to separate while I was 7 months pregnant and stated hormones were not a real thing. She was uneducated in her responses and used preschool descriptions of how to communicate. I felt worse every time my partner and I left her office.

Thanks to her help, I have resolved many issues I have struggled with for many many years. She is compassionate and empathic and all of the women in the office are so incredibly warm and friendly! I was so nervous the first time walking through the doors, and the entire office environment felt safe, warm, in addition to being a very classy office, it calmed me before even meeting her.

Rachel McDermott lacked compassion and caring. I found her to be extremely blunt and rude and she shamed me. It was not a good experience, in fact I felt worse everytime I left her office so I stopped going. The other therapists I met that are working there are friendly, and seemed very genuine.
