Never again with this provider
She made immediate assumptions and would not listen to the patient at all. She was abrasive and condescending to the patient from the beginning of the visit. Even before the visit started, she ordered an A1C when it was not needed for the condition being treated. She tried to force a prescription on the patient without the patient's consent by saying 'This is what you will take and I have already sent it to the pharmacy.' The medication she tried to prescribe is not recommended for patients with a history of heart conditions and the patient told her that he had a previous heart attack. She ignored other previous medical history in favor of her own bias. She refused to listen to the patient after the patient pointed out that she was not listening to him. She told the patient that she was going to upset the patient and she was fine with that.

I came very well prepared but was dismissed.
I had sent ahead of time resent lab results and a timeline of health concerns that morning in the MyChart app. Rachel came into the room in a hurried anxious manner. She asked what I was in for and I referred her to my uploaded documents for review. Her anxious manner was triggering my diagnosised and untreated anxiety. She refused to look at my document of my health timeline I had prepared so I pulled it up on my phone and began to scroll through and mention my ailments. Rachel was very dismissive. She said nothing in my lab results concerns her. The third time she said she had to go and was leaving the room I told her I hadn't gotten through my questions that I had reserved and paid for an extended office visit and had come prepared, she said that the extended office visit wasn't a real thing. I continued to ask Rachel how I could get help with my anxiety and she she she didn't have time to help me and she thought that i may be somatic and walked out of the room on my question.
