I’m very pleased with Dr. Ray Scurfield and his office staff. Starting there, Ms.Sue has me feeling every week when she calls to remind me of my appointment as if I’m his only patient, they make you feel #1 all the time to them. Then on to see Dr.Ray he’s professional yet personable, leading you to comfort with him and yourself. Steadily every week I’ve for first time in very long time feeling like I’m making progress in recycling or up cycling my ole baggage. I’m very thankful for Dr.Ray an his contributions in the mental health arena and our area.

I had around a dozen sessions with Dr. Scurfield and found him to be very professional, personable, compassionate and insightful. He is BIG on meditation-as-therapy. And his rates are reasonable! I certainly gained from our regular interactions (which ended only because I relocated) and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of psychiatric counseling.

I feel truly blessed to have met Dr. Ray Scurfield, with so many past bad experiences with therapists he has been a breath of fresh air. He is easy to talk with and very personable. I feel like my sessions and treatment plans are specific to my personal needs and are ideal for personal growth in my life.
