Rebecca has built up my self-esteem, introduced helpful and life-saving ideas to me, and I wouldn't be in recovery from mental illness without her. Now I'm more self-confident, believe more in my own intelligence, and constantly use tools from her to navigate this big inner world I face. Mental illness makes you feel alone, ashamed, embarassed, and like you're not worth it. Like perhaps you should wrap the whole thing up. She's reversed so much of this in me, and I'm a better man because of my work with her. Her intelligence and perception is world class, but it's matched by her empathy, genuine concern, and care. If you have the honor of working with her, I say you to take the opportunity and work as hard as you can. She's such a hard worker and will be there alongside you. It's time to save your own life.

Rebecca started off as what I saw as a terrific therapist. I was highly recommended to her by a psychiatrist I'd been with for many year. However, first impressions are deceptive -- Rebecca is shallow and concerned mainly with cutting costs and her business, by hiring unqualified social workers who are not trained to perform therapy on young adults with serious mental health illnesses. Most of her practice consists of social workers who have not had much training when it comes to psychiatry or psychology. This would be acceptable, except that they make psychiatric diagnoses and use their flawed understanding of psychology to cause more harm than qualified practitioners would be able to provide. Take care and choose a therapist who is empathetic and cares about your well-being over personal gain.

Rebecca is a social worker. She is NOT a psychologist or a medical professional. My child was seeing her for a year and she did NOTHING to help him. She good at spewing psychobabble ad nauseum and taking your money but she did not help my child. We just wasted a lot of time and money. She was referred to us by his psychiatrist who said she was "one of the best counselors in the city" (an exact quote by him). Of course, he probably got a 'referral fee' from her. My son is now seeing a clinical psychologist PhD who has done wonders for him. And he is no longer seeing the psychiatrist who referred Rebecca. It still angers me when I think of the time and money we spent. Stay away from the social workers and stick with medical professionals and get referrals from patients.
