Rena Brantner, LPC

I went to Rena back when I was in high school. This was roughly 2013. I was dealing with depression and self harm, and had suicidal problems. She made insensitive jokes claiming I was autistic (because I was quiet and shy), more-or-less convinced me that I had an eating disorder when I did not at the time, and told me far too much information about another patient of hers. It was an awful first experience seeking help.

I'm very disappointed...I sent my daughter to get counseling from Rena Brantner for severe depression and grief of losing her brother, and all Rena does is talk about her neighbors dog, and herself. I'm upset at this point. My daughter really needed some counseling, and she ended up counseling the counselor. We/insurance should not even have to pay for this session. This was my daughter's first session, and I had high hopes that she would get some help from someone who is trained to help....
