Richard Howard, PT

I was referred to Mr. Howard for an S.I. joint issue by two Doctors. Mr. Howard takes some health plans but not others - mine being one of them. That being said and in need of care I literally begged and pleaded for a self pay appointment which was granted by His Highness Mr. Howard. I paid the full fee for an evaluation and returned on three other occasions -even though his small office space carved out of a Podiatrists office is a good drive from where I live in North Broward County. The second visit I received a discount and paid in cash. The third visit was free since it was a quick check of the S.I. joint. The fourth visit was also begged for by me on the advice of two Doctor's I've been seeing for lower back pain. Mr. Howard apparently thinks he's God's gift to the Physical Therapy world, which I am happy to report he is not. He texted me an appointment time on Sunday night, which I found unprofessional and could not make and displayed some political opinions I differ with.

When I came in to see Rich Howard PT I could barely walk. I had a fractured ankle and using a walker. My balance was bad. After 2-3 months of PT I am able walk without any device and my balance is much improved. He is a superb professional and very caring and attentive. I would highly recommend him for physical therapy.

I have used Richard Howard over the past month-and-a-half for physical therapy. I had pereneal tendon surgery and he is an amazing therapist! I made significant progress with his expertise and patience during this time frame. I went from being 100% on a knee scooter with an air cast to fully walking and weight bearing since the initial surgery on July 19th. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him as a physical therapist!

If i said Richard Howard makes miracles happen, that would sound really cheesy! But he actually does!

The man has an unbelievable talent! He really knows what he is doing. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I HIGHLY recommend seeing him. He's awesome! My back feels better as I'm walking to my car!

Rich Howard is not a good therapist and even though he states that he takes patient's who are covered by Medicare, he bills above and beyond what medicare pays him. My experience with Rich Howard as my therapist is not good, he did not provide any relief and now I am facing hip surgery. He not only did not provide any relief, but stuck me with an additional bill of $129.87, and sent it to a collection agency.
