Dr. King diagnosed me with a personality disorder while ignoring that I was being raised by a woman who now has schizophrenia. Rather than help me, seeing King was painful, as he validated the harm being done to me and actually encouraged it, which has caused continued suffering for years after our visits concluded. I would not recommend King unless you are an abusive parent who would like to hurt you child (more).

I have been seeing Dr. King for around three years. Initially I was seeing him on a weekly basis, but now see him monthly. I always feel better after seeing Dr. King and truly appreciate his insight and understanding. I've been able to talk through some very difficult issues and overcome a lot of challenges with his assistance. I'd recommend him without reservation.

Can't recommend Dr. King enough.
He treated me and our interesting Korean-American family dynamic in high school and he helped me appreciate life and view it in a different perspective. He is a great listener and made me realize I was running from problems through video games and provided ideas and tips to help combat my situation. Overall, he helped me realize my problems could be solved and broke it down into easy to understand chunks.

Dr. Richard King is an intuitive problem solver. He uses his mind and skills combined with a positive approach to help solve problems or at least to place them into perspective. I would recommend him to anyone. Only minus is wait time in calendar days for an appointment. Plus is: the professional staff will place you on a wait list and truly try to get an appointment for you when someone cancels..Kind and patient, impartial counselor.

UNPROFESSIONAL ! ! !
Clinical Psychologist, Dr. R. King, PHD choses sides in couples counseling.
Ethically a compentent psychologist releases clients knowing their personal bias
inflames and damages a struggling relationship.
The couple's relationship is worse off than when they started.

Office staff doesn't return calls. If you miss an appointment, prepare to pay $100 fee even if it's their error. Charged my card without authorization due to missed appointment. Doctor will not call me to dispute.
