A top notch doctor
Telehealth
He is very, very knowledgeable and kind and compassionate. He will put you on the right path. I only wish I had found him sooner. He is excellent at trial from what I have heard from his other cases. He can talk more than he listens and loves to talk. We don’t always agree, abd he is extremely generous with his time and resources in working around billing hurdles. If he is at trial, it can take him more than expected to send a report, but when he does, he is most thorough and looking out for the patient’s best interests versus the insurer or alternate party. He was a life saver for me after another doc was charging excessive fees with no full testing. He tested without huge delays and takes insurance. His groups ate valuable and I hope he does not retire. I have seen two other neurologists before I found him and they were all his students.

Dedicated, caring, and very informative.
Dr. Olcese is a wonderful person and neuropsychologist. He worked with me for many years. Working in groups with others who suffered brain injuries, on a weekly basis for many years. He taught me skills to survive with a comprised brain and gave me emotional support. Thank you, Dr. Olcese

Unprofessional/Money grubbing
The visits themselves went well. My child was assessed and diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. The problem came when it was time to receive the final report for the assessment in order to have it filed for school accommodations to help my child. For over a *year & a half, I called, left voicemails, spoke with his receptionist, visited in person, and sent emails without response. I even had my child's PCP contact him. To no avail. We were completely ignored after having gone through the entire assessment process. Beyond furious, hurt and frustrated doesn't begin to describe what we're feeling. This so called neuropsychologist should be ashamed of himself and the level of neglect that we have endured. The Hypocratic oath means nothing to him apparently. Addendum: found out today that our health insurance doesn't have him listed for referral and that he may be withholding the report because he hasn't figured out how to get paid. Wow. Just wow.

WAS NOT PREPARED. Did not read the other neurologist evaluation from 5 years ago. Called September and left voicemail's to to set appointment never called. Case Manager at regular Doctor Office will call Olcese office. Finally in October Olcese calls to set up appointment. Hardly evaluated patient. Regular Doc made several attempts to contact Olcese office for copy evaluation. I finally receive a copy of findings and Olcese used the evaluation from the other neurologist 5 years ago for his (Olcese) evaluation. Olcese said there was not change from 5 years ago, which is not true, because the dementia is getting worse. After 1 hour meeting patient, Olcese said his assistant would call to set up appt. for December, never heard from his office. Olcese evaluation states patient was suppose to call set up appointment and that they tried several attempts to call and THAT IS FALSE never received any phone calls or voicemails from his office. Olcese worth ethic is very very bad.
