Richard Roselli, LMFT

I had three sessions with Richard Roselli and my third session was SO BAD. The first two were great, we made progress, I felt heard, everything was good. The third session, he thought I was a new client even though we had me twice over the last two weeks (once a week). He apologized and read over my profile and his notes (or lack thereof) and for the entire hour sessions, he had me watch a youtube video. He could have sent that to me to view on my own time. He added zero value for my third session. He told me he would send me the video since we did not get through the entire 3 hour youtube video, but never did. I could not believe his lack of care and professionalism during our third session and never met with him again. Super unfortunate situation

Awful provider with a very nonchalant demeanor. Highly doubt his expertise and background. Not very welcoming.

Roselli didn't review my husband’s psychiatric testing, ignored testimony on my husband’s past, and put us on a communication plan better suited to neurotypical couples. The plan was great for solving communication difficulties but a disaster for sufferers of severe mental health disorders and communication disabilities. His plan even included reading and analyzing very difficult text which was interesting for me but impossible for my husband. Roselli ignored my husband’s lateness and inability to follow through on weekly work. Then he dropped both of us without referring us to anyone else. My husband continued with him individually but his psychosis and addiction grew worse resulting in catastrophic consequences. Roselli displays that he has expertise in addiction and mood disorders but his expertise here is questionable. Finally Roselli diagnosed addiction when clear evidence was presented but by then it was obvious. Roselli communication skills are stronger than mental health skills
