I had my first visit with Dr Rikki Hammel for an annual skin check. She blew me away from the time she entered the room, til she said “goodbye, I’ll see you in a year”. Professional and thorough is how I would describe her. There was an explanation for everything she was checking on me. Amazingly quick, but always asking if I had any questions or didn’t understand. She initiated a variety of products for sale into the conversations, but didn’t overdue the selling of any particular item. I liked Dr. Hammel’s approach in the way she got down to why I was there. I’ll be a patient with her for a long time.

Rikki is very kind and gentle. She explains things very thoroughly and makes sure you understand her directions

Will not recommend her to anyone. Most part discussion acceptable. But there was periods of condescending attitude in all visits. As a patient it is hard to understand medical terminology. At one time, I was told, “you weren’t listening.” Another time, “I just said that.” After cryotherapy wound check appointment I was not told the skin tag would turn the color it did. It made me nervous so that is why I had a wound check. I was told that she did tell me I could expect that color. She did not. She did say skin tag would eventually dry up and fall off. Appointments with doctors were not easy to get in a timely matter, that is why I saw her.

I was offered an appointment on the same day I called! Amazing! My entire appointment was efficient and thorough. Everything was explained completely and in a very friendly manner which made it easy-to-understand. I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience.

Prompt with the appointment time. Thorough head to toe assessment. Explained what she was seeing and doing throughout the exam. Took her time to listen to what I was saying and asking then going through her recommendation again to be sure I understood. Personable and knowledgeable. I will definitely see her again.
