Her photo in Psychology Today is 20 years old, so she was not the person I was hoping to see. When we talked I began to wonder if she was someone who would be helpful to me, but I decided to give her another try. She had changed the time of the first appointment, which was fine, but later asked to change the time of the second one. That wasn't convenient for me so we agreed to go back to the original time, but, when I arrived, her anger at having to wait was palpable. I told her I wasn't going to stay and, at that point, she expressed her resentment at having to wait for me in no uncertain terms. I explained that I wanted to collect a document I had written about my background. She gave it back, with a very nasty 'Good luck.' She seems to have lost sight of the fact that she is hired by the client and is there to provide a service. When she kept changing the time of appointments it seemed like a pattern that was likely to continue and the client's needs would not be respected.
