Robert Cadena, NP

I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult (late 30's) and had seen two psychiatrists before meeting with Robert. I was prescribed pretty potent medications from the previous two psychiatrists but Robert was the first one who seemed to do any kind of medical assessment and took the time to understand my condition holistically. He's very knowledgeable about the medications I was already on, thoroughly explained how they interacted and what to look out for. He walked me through a strategy that we'd work on to improve my symptoms and adjusted my medication regimen and I've had immediate results. To anyone who may be prejudiced about seeing a Psych NP over a Psychiatrist, I would say my experience has been the opposite. I feel like I've had far better care and I'm a big believer in the more holistic nursing approach.
