incompetent office staff
I had an eye exam in 11/2021, along with getting new glasses. This office did NOT FILE A CLAIM WITH MY VISION INSURANCE, resulting in my paying $435 out of pocket. Then in 9/2022 they have the nerve to send me an additional bill for $30. This is what started me to research what was going on. This is when I discovered my vision insurance had not been billed. They later voided the $30 bill they say was owing. This error caused me to have file a claim directly with my vision insurance in an attempt to recover some of the $435 I paid out of pocket. As of yet I have not recovered anything. I will not use this optometry office again. It is crazy, not to bill the vision insurance for an optometry office visit / exam.
