Robert Heasley

My fiancé was seeing Robert upon the recommendation of my therapist. For the first few months, we both thought Robert was great, but when I learned that my fiancé never told me about his obsessive thoughts that were leading to suicidal thoughts, I was quite upset. I asked Robert if he ever told my fiancé to share that with me, and Robert said he hadn’t. Then a week before Christmas, Robert emailed saying he would not see clients in person due to COVID-19 concerns the day before my fiancé’s session, so my fiancé canceled and decided to wait until he was seeing people in person again. Robert has not reached out to him to schedule anything since, and it has been over 3 months. My fiancé feels abandoned, and we feel this is unprofessional behavior. Further, Robert is an LMFT, and we don’t feels he’s modeling the behavior that he’s supposed to encourage in his clients - communication. This is the second time we feel communication is severely lacking, enough to put my fiancé’s life at risk.
