Robin Rhodea, LCSW

I have seen Robin Rhodea for a while. She has always been able to listen and provide a non judge-mental atmosphere. She makes great effort to keep appointments. Never do you get an arrogant air to her, but instead very open and accepting demeanor. I’ve never been uncomfortable or unsatisfied with my sessions and found her to be quite accommodating. She has always appeared to be a smart and competent therapist. I noticed someone left a negative review and feel they were a bit unfair in that they only gave her one time. The intake session is a bit bland but after that things tend to get moving. You have to understand things aren’t going to be discovered or fixed in a couple of sessions and these take time to evolve the relationship to know what’s wrong and what’s causes it. People have to find the therapists that work best for them and I am very satisfied with her and would not want someone else. It is something that I look forward to every week.

Underwent a disappointing intake appointment with Robin, and I am not impressed. In a 45 minute, meeting she stuck to a script of intake questions all of which could have been completed beforehand but were not offered. The meeting was very impersonal with no targeted actions by the end. She was more concerned with explaining therapy “as her business and as a business owner” than with actually providing patient care. Highly recommended avoiding.
