I wanted to take a moment to thank Womenwise Midwifery for the AMAZING care I received during my last pregnancy! This was my third pregnancy, and I decided to transition my care to a midwife instead of a large OB/GYN practice that I had used with my prior pregnancies. The midwifes at Womenwise Midwifery exceeded all of my expectations throughout my pregnancy journey. I truly valued the personalized care and attention to detail that me and my baby received- I always left my appointments with all of my questions answered and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone in the practice. It also gave me peace of mind to know that when I went into labor, someone that knows me would be the one answering my call and meeting me at the hospital. The labor and delivery experience at Einstein Montgomery was also great- the nurses in L&D and on the Postpartum unit were phenomenal. I will be forever grateful for the exceptional care that I received during my pregnancy.

While I had a good experience for the most part during my pregnancy with Ronni and Anne and felt in great hands with Anne during my labor and will have a special place in my heart for her, I feel the practice is extremely lacking in their postpartum care. For this reason, I am only recommending them as fair.

Though I was honest with RR from the beginning about how I would decline certain unnecessary interventions as my due date approached, RR fired me as her patient in the middle of my 36 wk citing the very things that she & I had been discussing from the beginning. Had I listened to my intuition, I would've left RR round about the 20th week, but was seeking a vbac so choices were slim. I am going on three years, & the feeling of betrayal when I was most vulnerable still cuts deep, esp her bullying.
