Doesn't Believe In Her Own Practice
'If you need to take pills in order to cope you shouldn't be in the Army.' This is what she said to me almost immediately after writing me a prescription for medication to ease my depression and anxiety symptoms. From then on, when people ask me why I don't take anything to treat my PTSD I tell them this.
