He claimed to treat POTS, per his page that claims to be a POTs specialist. He does not treat POTs, he treats anxiety. It's a prepayment plan, so you are stuck if you decide to do it. Our final visit (because I didn't go back, not because it should of been) he told me to bring my daughter in (because she was causing me stress, shes 15, please tell me a 15yo who doesnt cause stress) for him to work with her, to help cure my own POTs. I do believe his methods help with trauma and stress, he has a very arrogant manner, if he had just spoken to me, particularly of he didn't know how to help me, instead of suggesting reducing stress to help with POTs and claiming I have EDS simply because My cousin does, with no testing, and basing everything on assumptions, I would have a lot more respect for him. No my lifelong battle with almost passing out and sometimes passing out, when I change positions is not just anxiety. If you want help with anxiety, see him, If you want help with POTS, go somewhere else.

I walked in with absolutely no expectations and, in all honesty feeling rather pessimistic. After one of the most intense neuro-related exams I've ever had over the past 28 years, Dr. Russ was able to explain more than my trusted neurologist has over decades of services. That's not to say my neurologist has been withholding answers, it's that I believe Dr. Russ actually has an excellent grasp based on functionality of a myriad of physical problems that I have. I'm extremely impressed!
