Had my first pain mgmt procedure with Dr McConn today and it went well. He seemed very careful, which I appreciated since it was a nerve ablation procedure involving my cervical spine. I was a bit nervous since I'd always seen a different doctor so had looked up his background beforehand and found he had done a residency at Strong Hospital, which is connected with the University I attended and that was reassuring to me as I know it us an excellent medical school and medical center. I had no pain or difficulty after the procedure, other than the normal waiting fior the sedation to wear off. I would not be worried the next time.
