Dr. Sallyann Treadaway, PHD

Dr. Treadaway is very positive and extremely empathetic. She asks thought provoking questions that allows her clients to reflect and do self assessments in between sessions. She helps clients to organize their therapy objectives and stay on task. Therapy is hard work and Dr. Treadaway does an amazing job of supporting her clients through the process. She is rational, objective, professional, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Treadaway is very down to earth and can relate to her clients with ease. I have worked in healthcare for almost 30 years and I can say with confidence that Dr. Treadaway is one of the best therapists in our region.

The woman is biased and irrational in her approach. She tends to get very personal if she thinks you have certain characteristics. Her defense that her behavior and words are critical or professional observations is not very convincing. She is disrespectful and nasty, but a number of therapists are. The reality is many will conduct the therapy how they see fit. I completely disagree with a therapist talking in a disrespectful manner to the client, regardless of this reality, but that’s beside point. I cannot get mad anyways because this therapist cannot remain objective. Remaining impersonal, impartial and professional when necessary does not seem to be a part of her objective. I cannot assess how competent she is, but her abilities do not mean a thing to me because she can not abstain from expressing her personal opinions and emotions. I don’t care how good she is. A client has his limits.
