Considered her to be okay as a PCP's when I had general office visits. Relatively nice and straight to the point. However, when my undesirable and disturbing results came back from a blood test, I felt as though she did not handle it well at all. Her staff called and mis-informed me of my diagnosis. Confused, I had to make my own follow up appointment, otherwise I would have never received more or the correct information. She did not provide any sort of empathy or counseling regarding the effects of the diagnosis. No concern for my health at all on digesting the news. During the visit I probed with important questions I felt she should have already known and every one felt dismissed and met with a rushed answer. No medical advice on how to move forward until I asked. It is unsettling to know that had I not made a follow up appointment or asked important questions (from my own research) I would have never understood my diagnosis. Traumatic. I will be switching PCP's immediately.

It’s comforting to be listened to and heard. I’ve never felt rushed and that’s very important.

I have the highest respect for sandy armstrong. She has compassion , intelligence and common sense. She is a humble , knowledge primary care provider. My medical problems over the last 5 months have been devastating. If it wasn't thru the expertise of sandy i believe there would have been a serious time of depression for me. I highly recommend sandy . Her staff are dedicated and compassionate. They were never rude, or talked down to me when I didn't understand medical terms.

The nicest medical professional I have ever dealt with. She will always take the time to listen to what you have to say and let you voice any concerns you may have about your health. It is extremely obvious that she really wants the best for her patients.
