Dr. Sandra Doud, OD

My children and I have been going to Dr. Doud for over the past 12 years. She is a knowledgeable professional that treats her patients with the utmost care. She and her staff always go above and beyond to accommodate our needs and concerns. I highly recommend her!

My experience as a new patient with Dr. Doud was exceptional! I had been experiencing multiple difficulties for some years with high prescription contact lenses: blurred vision, dry eyes, soreness and inflammation. Within a few minutes of my first appointment, Dr. Doud had a solution. It's like a miracle to me! I now have better vision, both near and far, and the dryness and inflammation are gone. She is professional, personable, knowledgeable; a great listener. Exceptional experience!

I recommended Dr. Doud unreservedly. Even though I now live in another state, I make a point of coming back to MI to see Dr. Doud. She’s always provided me with excellent care with the highest level of professionalism. My prescription is difficult and I need to wear contacts due to lifestyle. My entire family (me, husband and kids) all see Dr Doud and have been since she joined Huron Opthomology in 1989. She has always been a very good and concerned Dr regarding our precious eyes and I thank you! I must admit I am a little disappointed that Dr Doud has never called me “Princess”, perhaps I’ll wear a Tiara next visit!! LOL. I think perhaps “Ms Princess” of the 2017 review misunderstood what was said or embellished, either way I have never heard Dr Doud talk down to a patient. Debi

I have been a patient of Dr. Doud's for over 15 years. She has always been professional, responsible and courteous to me. I have been wearing contact lens for almost 40 years. She has helped me find the best lens with the best fit. Also because she is part of a larger Opthamology group, I have been able to obtain additional eye care when needed without any issues.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Doud! She is always so caring about my wants and needs! I am very picky about my eyesight and want it to be crystal clear (which is difficult with an always changing prescription). When making any adjustments to my vision she always gives me both the pros and cons and lets me make the call myself as to which path I would like to take. I will continue to be a long time patient of hers!

My family and I have seen Dr. Doud for several years. She has always been very professional, patient and informative. She is always well informed of the latest developments in the field and freely shares them with us. Because she shares her practice with an excellent group of ophthalmologists, she can access specialists if needed. She has always been able to squeeze us in for urgent matters usually on the same day.

I went to see Dr. Doud for contact lenses. After receiving my contacts, I wasn't able to read anything up close after wearing them for a week. When I relayed this information to Dr. Doud, she said, "Look, Princess, they're not going to be perfect!" In other words, get over it! Never went back after that.
