Sandra Jackson, MFC

I've been her patient for multiple years, makes crisis seem more manageable & options obtainable

I found Dr. Jackson on MDLive at a very difficult time in my life. She fit me into her busy schedule and for a year was a healing balm of factual support to help me understand what was going on in my mind, and how to overcome it. She is a great therapist for people who are struggling with life phases--for people who are even struggling with the idea of needing therapy in the first place. I only stopped going to her when my insurance abruptly changed and no longer covers her, and I couldn't even figure out how to contact her to let her know what had happened. I see a new therapist now who is lovely in a very different way (perhaps appropriate for the season I'm in right now) but Dr. Jackson's intelligent but caring services were exactly what I needed for the year that I worked with her and I am leaving this review in the hopes that she sees it as a way to say thank you. <3

Following many years of pain and trauma, my life was at the breaking point before I began sessions with Sandra. Sandra’s guidance has allowed me to view the world through a different set of lenses while I continue to build a better life for myself. I highly recommend her! She is very patient, calm, compassionately honest and a wonderful person.

She does not take new patients. I cannot even get the courtesy of a call back. Please do not try to connect with her. She obviously does not care if you are in crisis. Very disappointed. She takes my insurance and is only one in my immediate area that does, but again, no courtesy call back to even possibly refer me to someone who is actually willing to help me. Trying to contact her has further stressed me and has only strengthened my distrust and belief in getting help.
