Sara Freer, LCSW-R

I've never had a real problem with her. She is very blunt, direct, and to the point and is compassionate and understanding in her own way. She validates your feelings and takes a lot of time listening to you. I always have these "a-ha" moments during our sessions that make a lot of sense. I trust her diagnosis and she knows what she's talking about. The only thing I wish she would do differently is be a little more on the "warmer" side since she can come off cold and abrasive at times.

I'd been in therapy with Sara Freer for 2 years. But it ended abruptly. You never end therapy abruptly. Everyone in that profession knows that. I shared intimated details of my life with her. Sure, we had our differences, but to just call me on the phone and thats it? She claims I requested to leave, but those words never left my mouth. I talked to their director but all she said was "we know best." Sorry. For therapy there are so many better options. She was snarky, argumentative and made me feel bad. I also called her when I was in crisis, and reacted poorly. When I questioned her, she said "it was 3:45 on a Friday. You get me how you get me." It hurt for her to be so rude to me
