Said it was nothing to worry about…
I have been diagnosed with melanoma several times, now. During one of my recent skin checks, I was concerned that a place on my body that resembled a pimple could be nodular melanoma because it was very firm and wasn’t going away. Sarah Johnson dismissed it as nothing to worry about. I asked her to please do a biopsy to be certain. Guess what? It was nodular melanoma, stage 2b. Nodular melanoma is very aggressive, so if I had not gone with my intuition and instead listened to Sarah, there’s a very good chance that I would no longer be here to leave a review. If you have concerns, please advocate for yourself. Get other opinions. Do not let medical professionals dictate your care if you disagree with their theories and opinions.
