I have a bacteria called pseudomonas in my lungs, which is difficult to eradicate with antibiotics, but is treatable with a therapy called Phage. Because Dr. Ambrose is possibly the only doctor in Oregon who has access to Phage, I traveled 6 hours, got a hotel room, and paid nearly $300 for an appointment. While very nice, she ended up giving me nearly expired Phage which didn't work. When I followed up, she basically said "darn" and she'd let me know when she got more. Haven't heard from her.

I have seen dozens of doctors, half of them NDs, no one comes close to the level of compassion, detail in finding cause of illness, care, and respects for her patients based on my experience.
