I went in with my 3 year old daughter and was asked, at least twice, by him why I didn’t have anybody to help me with her. She sat obediently in a chair the whole watching my phone and didn’t make a sound. His hours are crappy, the service was sub-par, and he seemed inconvenienced that I’d come in to be a paying customer. Maybe if you want somebody to come in without a child be open more than 2x a week. Don’t worry doc, my 3 year old daughter, and I won’t be back.

If I hadn’t already liked his office and staff, and the good doctor himself, I’d have fallen all over myself to see him thanks to the one star review from the lady who was told that it wasn’t a daycare.
While I sincerely doubt that was actually said, it should have been.

Do not make an appointment with this person if you are female or have children. I brought my kids with me to my appointment and was told this was a doctor's office not a nursery. I wanted to hold my son (who is teething) so he wouldn't cry and was told I couldn't because he my break a 2000lb piece of equipment that's bolted to the floor. I was railroaded because I'm a woman. Well this woman will never come back.

I trust Dr. McPherson. He was patient and professional. Before I went to see him, I knew my prescription was wrong from a previous exam by a different optometrist. Dr. McPherson took his time evaluating my needs and explaining my options. My vision is now corrected and perfect. I will and have recommended him to friends and family.
