Bad C and P Exam
I am a veteran who was sent to Dr. Sumrall for a compensation and pension exam related to tinnitus. After a 5-minute exam and interview the appointment was over. Dr. Sumrall then went on to submit a Disability Questionnaire to the VA that was wrong. He omitted facts, obviously didn't review my pertinent records which led to a faulty conclusion that will no doubt lead to a denial of what should have been a 'slam dunk' claim. A claim/condition that he himself stated would be service connected. Due to his lack of professionalism, and attention to detail I will have to file an appeal which will only lengthen what is a long and arduous process. As someone who is contracted to conduct exams on behalf of veterans and the VA, we deserve better.
