Dr. Scott Wright, OD

A while back my son had his first (and last with Wright) eye exam. During the exam I stayed outside the door to attend to my other children so we didn’t interrupt. (door was cracked open so I could hear what was going on) at one point I walked away from the open door with my other children for a moment (maybe 30 sec?) and when I wakes back the door was shut and locked. I heard him yelling at my son telling him he was waisting his time and did not need glasses. I was so surprised by this ‘Dr’ and his terrible behavior. I took my son to another doctor at a different clinic. And my son received the glasses he needed. I would not recommend Scott.

I went to Vision Pro for a vision exam and to get prescriptions for contact lenses and glasses. Dr. Wright rushed my exam and his prescriptions were very different from my previous prescriptions. His clinic did not have the contact brands he recommended and it took many weeks to order the trial lenses. It turned out his prescriptions for both the contact lens and the glasses did not work well on me and I had to go back for a recheck after a few months. When I showed up at the appointment, I was told my appointment was canceled without any notice in advance. When I managed to see him, he got so impatient and refused my request to adjust the prescription of glasses and told me I would need to pay for another appointment to do so. I agreed to pay for another appointment but he suddenly started to complain about me and said I wouldn't know better than him unless I have a doctor's degree in optometry. In the end, he told me he would not see me again.
